James Harding joined us in 2019 as the Head of Earlscliffe in Folkestone, Kent.
James has career-long involvement in internationally-minded independent education, with experience as acting Head and Deputy Principal in a previous school, as well experience in a variety of academic and pastoral leadership posts. His experience in boarding education has been another constant, alongside his passion for providing students with a first-class, holistic education which inspires and motivates them to exceed their expectations.
James believes in student-centred education which enables young people to become well-informed, emotionally intelligent, responsible and successful global citizens. James has family connections to Kent and is delighted to be settled in Folkestone which he believes is the most interesting and beautiful of the seaside towns on the south-east coast of England. He is interested in all things cultural, including Music of all types (especially classical), Literature, Art, cooking, travelling, and keeping fit.
