Last Sunday, Cardiff Sixth Form College was named the best independent secondary school in Wales in the Sunday Times Parent Power rankings.
As the rankings are based on both GCSE and A-level results, Cardiff Sixth Form College has not been included previously as it did not offer GCSE examinations. However, after a successful introduction of a one-year GCSE programme this year, the college was eligible to enter and was awarded the top spot. This is a fantastic achievement that shows the hard work and dedication of both students and staff across the college. This year, Cardiff Sixth Form College has also been awarded ‘school of the year’ for the region and achieved 99.2% A-level A*-B grades and 83.9% GCSE A*-A grades this summer. Congratulations to the students and staff in Cardiff for such an impressive year!
