London – June 2024 – Leading independent education provider, Dukes Education, has further expanded its fast-growing family of schools with the International School of Athens (ISA).
ISA complements Dukes Education’s existing presence in England, Wales, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Switzerland.
Serving 700 students, ISA is the only international school in Greece to be an IB Continuum World School offering the three IB programmes, covering Kindergarten to grade 12. ISA’s leadership and operational frameworks remain unchanged and leading IB consultant, Dr Spiros Molfetas, will continue as a pivotal figure in the organisation ensuring ISA’s values and vision are preserved and enhanced in the coming years.
The partnership with Dukes Education opens an array of benefits for ISA’s community that includes access to a global talent pool of exceptional educators, opportunities for student and teacher exchanges, and a platform for sharing best practice on an international scale. The collaboration offers ISA’s students and staff unprecedented learning and development opportunities.
Founder and Chairman of Dukes Education, Aatif Hassan, whose passion for the transformational power of education, and whose commitment to educational quality and student wellbeing is at the heart of the Dukes Education ethos, said: “I am delighted to embark on our new partnership in Greece and extend a very warm welcome to the parents, students and staff of ISA.”
Founder of ISA, Vasilis Daskalakis, said, “ISA is a family school with a strong community, and I am confident that this will be preserved in our new partnership with Dukes Education. Joining this prestigious educational group is a very significant moment for ISA and our partnership marks a significant step forward in our mission to continually elevate the quality of education we offer.”
