Rochester Independent College is well-known for its broad range of subject choices, and students are particularly lucky to benefit from a fantastic provision in the visual Arts. Several of the teachers at the college are practising artists and even the Good Schools Guide thinks “it would be hard to find better provision for the artistically inclined.”
Last summer, the college celebrated 35 years of visual Arts with a truly stunning exhibition. The exhibition showcased a variety of artworks from current GCSE and A-level students studying Fine Art, Graphic Design, Photography, Textiles, and 3D Design – and looked very impressive. To share this milestone with as many visitors as possible, the art exhibition travelled around Kent, with stops in Chatham, Whitstable, and Margate.
The college now has published the exhibition catalogue celebrating the stunning works of art by current students, alumni, as well as staff members of Rochester Independent College.
