I am delighted to be Head of Kneller Hall Junior. I believe in the importance of nurturing each pupil as an individual, focusing not only on their achievements but on who they are becoming. My motivation lies in equipping pupils at Radnor House Prep with a strong foundation of academic knowledge, alongside the skills to navigate the opportunities this creates. This includes fostering purposeful digital literacy to empower them to engage with the online world safely and responsibly.

I am passionate about cultivating a mindset that encourages critical and abstract thinking, curiosity, and the confidence to ask questions and take risks in their learning. Equally important is fostering self-esteem, creativity, and an awareness of themselves as individuals, as well as an understanding of others around them, enabling them to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.

I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment at Kneller Hall Junior where every child is valued, supported, and encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential. While fostering ambition and excellence, I also place great importance on ensuring that children experience the joy and wonder of childhood and Prep school years.

Kneller Hall Junior

Kneller Hall Junior, formerly Radnor House Prep School, is an independent co-educational day school. The school educates and inspire girls and boys from ages 4-11, with the main entry points in Reception, Year 3 and Year 5.

 

Life at Kneller Hall is shaped by the school’s commitment to providing an active learning environment for limitless minds. Everyone firmly believes that all pupils are capable of great things if effectively taught, motivated and inspired by their school environment. Pupils thrive in small classes with a strong focus on individual attention. This vision is underpinned by four key values which are central to school life:

 

Resilience – encouraging a sense of balance and humour in dealing with mishap and failure, and encouraging pupils to use difficulties as learning opportunities.

Kneller Hall Junior will occupy the beautiful, historic Pope's Villa, originally built in 1842, on the banks of the Thames in Twickenham. Pope's Villa is the current home of Radnor House Twickenham senior school, which will be moving to its majestic new home Kneller Hall in September 2027.
