Damian oversees the management and development of the Dukes Property portfolio, encompassing everything from high profile capital investment projects to supporting settings shape their individual development plans. He joined Dukes Education in 2022 having spent the previous 6 years in a very similar role at the International Schools Partnership (ISP).
Having graduated from Lancaster University, Damian attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and spent the next 18 years serving as an officer in the Royal Engineers. During which time he had the privilege of leading troops on deployed operations in Afghanistan and Iraq on multiple occasions. He also served as an instructor at the School of Military Engineering and at Sandhurst where he was responsible for commissioning new officers into the field army. On leaving the Army Damian had his first taste of the private education sector spending 4 years as Bursar of St John’s College School in Cambridge.
Damian has been married for 25 years to Sarah who is head of EYFS at their local village school, they have 2 children at University. Damian is a qualified rugby and triathlon coach and is a passionate advocate of the physical and mental benefits of sport. He tries to keep in shape with regular CrossFit sessions, long distance cycling, park runs, snowboarding and hillwalking. However, he is starting to regret entering Hyrox in October with his daughter!
