Florence will serve as Acting Head of Broomfield House School for the Autumn Term 2026, having joined the school as Assistant Headteacher before taking on the role of Deputy Headteacher.
She brings extensive leadership experience across both the independent and state sectors, having held senior leadership and Head of Department roles in both prep and senior school settings.
Before joining Broomfield House School, Florence worked at Falcons Prep, Richmond, and previously taught History in senior schools. Trained through the Teach First programme, she has developed a broad understanding of teaching, learning and curriculum design across a range of educational settings.
Florence is passionate about providing an exceptional prep school education, where academic excellence is matched by outstanding pastoral care and rich opportunities beyond the classroom. She is committed to creating an environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Her commitment to excellence was recognised through her nomination for the Inspiring History Teaching Award 2026 by Historic Royal Palaces.
