We are proud to announce that from August 2025, Copperfield International School Verbier and Verbier International School (VIS) will combine to form a single, ambitious and forward-looking international school in partnership with Dukes Education. This exciting development brings together two outstanding institutions to create a stronger, more vibrant school community in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
The newly unified school will be led by Grant Ferguson, an experienced school leader with a deep commitment to academic excellence and holistic education. Under his leadership, the school will build on the rich legacies of both Copperfield and VIS, offering an enhanced curriculum, exceptional teaching, and a nurturing environment where every student can thrive.
From August, families will benefit from a broader academic offer that includes the IB and High School Diploma pathway and state of the art facilities, dedicated science and art spaces, a modern exam hall, and dining and social areas. Students will continue to enjoy a uniquely Swiss education enriched by the Mountain Leadership Programme, ski racing partnerships, and year-round opportunities for sport, cultural and personal growth.
