Dukes Education brings Festival of Stories back to Clapham on 21st November 2026

Dukes Education is bringing its Festival of Stories back to Eaton House The Manor School, Clapham, on Saturday 21st November 2026, following the success of its inaugural event last year.

The all-day family festival is a celebration of books, storytelling, illustration and imagination, bringing together some of the UK’s best-loved children’s authors, illustrators and performers.

This year’s line-up includes Gyles Brandreth, Rachel Bright, Benji Davies, Onjali Q Rauf, Struan Murray, Katie and Kevin Tsang, Kate Rolfe, Susannah Lloyd and Emma Farrarons, alongside poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko.

Families will be able to take part in a packed programme of author talks, live draw-alongs, workshops and performances, including The Great Big Bug Show, Quickdraw Comics Club and Long Nose Puppets’ production of Penguin.

Alongside the ticketed sessions, visitors can enjoy a range of activities throughout the day, including interactive storytelling, book signings and a Waterstones bookshop, face painting, crafts, water play, bubbles, Lego and board games.

The Festival takes place during the National Year of Reading 2026, a nationwide campaign designed to inspire more people to discover the joy and benefits of reading.
