“I’m delighted to introduce you to Miss Daisy’s Nursery. When I founded the first Miss Daisy’s nursery school, my aim was to create a village nursery school in the heart of London, where the education offered a balance between formal learning and learning through play. The nurseries have always been founded on strong principles, where the child was the centre of every decision, and standards were exceptionally high.
We joined Dukes in 2018. I took the decision to join a wider family very seriously – nothing was more important to me than protecting the schools I had created. When I met with Aatif and the team at Dukes, I knew that I had found like-minded people, who were driven by the same principles, and who could help me achieve the very best for the children we were looking after at Miss Daisy’s…”
A bit about our nursery schools. We are proud to offer a strong sense of community as well as a warm and nurturing environment for both children and their parents! There is an excellent child-adult ratio to ensure the children are getting the best possible care at this important stage of their learning journey.
From the day a new child starts at Miss Daisy’s, the school is geared up towards gentle preparation for the next step. Key to the ethos at Miss Daisy’s is that the children actively lead their own development with no pressure on them in any way.
Miss Daisy’s Nursery is the first step on the education ladder and it is of paramount importance that it is the right step. Children leave Miss Daisy’s confident and happy, with enthusiasm and a thirst for knowledge. “

Miss Daisy’s Nursery is well-known and loved among local parents for creating closely-knit communities, developing happy and confident children, and helping parents to send their children to some of London’s best preparatory schools.
Children from two to five join the two-year programme, spanning nursery and kindergarten. The curriculum offers a balance between formal learning and creative discovery in a stimulating and caring environment. Children learn at their own pace. Through positive encouragement, they are gently prepared to participate in the morning gatherings with the Headmistress, hang up their coats, learn how to line up, as well as the basics of Literacy, Mathematics, and the Arts.
“We love the balance of good old fun bright and breezy decor, manners above all else, fancy dress if you like, and educational rigour.”
