Alistair joined Rochester Independent College in 1997 after teaching English in Russia and Romania. During his tenure at Rochester Independent College, Alistair has fostered an award-winning English department and oversaw the start-up of the Lower School. RIC has now evolved from a successful sixth form day and boarding college into a growing secondary school for children from the age of 11.
Alistair was educated at St Andrews and Glasgow. At Rochester Independent College he teaches A-level English Literature and advises both international and UK students on their university applications.
