Colégio Júlio Dinis (CJD) is a private school located in the city of Porto, Portugal. The school was founded in 1934, one of the oldest schools in Portugal, with a vision to provide quality education to children in Porto. The school was named after Júlio Dinis, a prominent 19th-century Portuguese writer, who had close ties to the city of Porto. It started as a small school with a handful of students and a team of passionate educators. Over the years, CJD has grown and evolved and, today, it is recognized as a leading educational institution in the region.

Copperfield International School Verbier

In March 2020, Dr Hugh McCormick founded a college in London dedicated to helping students affected by the pandemic. Copperfield London supported many young people as they battled with the most unpredictable educational conditions.

In October 2020, Hugh moved to Switzerland to open a school in the Swiss Alps with British investor John Porter.
Like for so many who have now spent years in Verbier, one visit was persuasive enough: the challenge now was to recruit students, staff and find a campus.
By January 10 2021, Copperfield’s 12-strong team was ready to open its doors to 30 curious students and their families. 18 months later, we have 28 teaching staff with 211  years of teaching experience, 55 university degrees, and are expecting over 60 students in January 2023.

Hove Village Day Nurseries are an exciting family of three settings in Brighton and Hove.

New Church Road nursery is situated in a beautiful Victorian building next to the very popular Wish Park. The setting is fortunate to have the beach and Hove Lagoon at the end of the road. This spacious nursery offers light and bright rooms for each age group and two brand-new, well-equipped gardens providing dedicated play spaces for babies and older children.

The historic Grade II Listed Hove Library is home to another of our settings, just moments from the beach and Hove Lawns. This intimate setting provides a cosy and nurturing environment for babies from 12-weeks to children aged 5.

Completing the family is our new day nursery in the heart of Brighton’s Kemptown. Located just minutes from the Royal Sussex County Hospital, American Express HQ and Brighton College, this stunning setting opened in April 2022. Hello, I am delighted to introduce myself as Head of the new Radnor House Prep School, opening in September 2023. Having lived and worked in Richmond and Twickenham for over 20 years, I am very aware of the excellent reputation of Radnor House senior school. I am so excited to be given this opportunity and I look forward to working closely with parents, children, and the wider Dukes community to build upon Radnor’s established success…

I am very proud to be taking the school forward into its next chapter as a prep school for girls and boys aged 2-11. Education should provide the best preparation for next steps into senior school and life beyond, and in my view children should receive an education based on encouragement rather than pressure. The very best results come from a broad base, an interesting and challenging curriculum, and a strong and supportive network of parents, pupils and school.

We have the chance to create something new and exciting at Radnor House Prep School. But please be assured, the new prep school will be founded on the same core principles as the current senior school: courage, excellence, perseverance and respect, and those values will underpin everything we do. As a prep school, we will benefit from the wonderful riverside site, and the refit planned for summer 2023 will provide us with more outstanding resources for an exceptional educational experience. Our children will also have the chance to progress directly into Kneller Hall School, the new Dukes senior school opening in Twickenham in September 2023.

Radnor House Prep School is a new independent co-educational day school, opening in September 2023.  The school will educate and inspire girls and boys from ages 2-11, with four main entry points in Nursery, Reception, Year 3 and Year 5.
