About
The English School of Asturias

The English School of Asturias is a co-educational school located between Oviedo and Gijón in the beautiful Asturias region of northwestern Spain. The school was founded in 1997 and has a large, fully equipped and attractive campus.  It is the only bilingual IB school in the area and provides an unrivalled education with an international outlook.  The school caters for students from 2 to 18 years of age and over the years the school roll has grown significantly.

ESA is an applicant category school for the Diploma Programme and wishes to obtain authorisation to become an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy – a rigorous, quality international education.
