We are housed in a beautiful 5-storey building, with adjoining playground, specialist art, science and yoga classroom, library and a canteen.

We provide an exciting and challenging curriculum so our pupils gain a love of learning, a thirst for knowledge and an appreciation of the arts.

Based in the heart of Shoreditch and a stone’s throw from Old Street and Liverpool Street stations, we have a wealth of resources right on our doorstep that we regularly take advantage of. Be it lessons in local museums, tours of the Royal Parks or trips to London’s theatres – we aim to afford all of our students the very best experiences and hands-on education.

The Lyceum School

The Lyceum School is an independent, co-educational school for 3 to 11 year-olds in the City of London. Founded in 1997, the school has established itself as one of the top independent schools in London, based on their ethos of ensuring all pupils develop morally, socially, academically, spiritually, and culturally. It joined the Dukes Education family in September 2018.

 

Everyone at the school is dedicated to providing a well-rounded education, where every child has the chance to shine. There is a high level of commitment from the staff, who are dedicated to discovering and promoting children’s talents. Children from The Lyceum leave with high-level skills both academically and within the creative arts, achieved through innovative organisation and high-quality teaching.

We opened our new building in April 2019.
It provides us with purpose-built classrooms and wonderful outdoor space.

A well-rounded education

Apart from providing excellent teaching, the Lyceum also values a creative education outside of the traditional classroom. Children explore disciplines such as Drama, Sports, Music, Visual Arts, and attend many exhibitions that relate their learnings to our world.

The Lyceum offers an adventurous education in the City of London.

Early Years at The Lyceum School

The Early Years Foundation Stage unit is a warm and welcoming space, led by Jen Lamond, comprising a Reception class and a Nursery class. It is located in a self-contained area on the ground floor of the Lyceum building.
