Summer Boarding Courses have been delivering premier residential English summer schools for international students aged 8-17 years for the last 10 years, welcoming students from over 100 different countries since their very first summer school. Dukes is proud to share the news that, after an inspection in July 2018, The British Council awarded Summer Boarding Courses the maximum number of Strengths in the 15 areas it assesses. As a result, Summer Boarding Courses became the first and only multicentre summer school provider to be awarded 15 out of 15 areas of strength in a full inspection, confirming them as one of the foremost course providers in the UK. This inspection thoroughly assesses the provision of English language schools and programmes in the UK, including areas such as Care of Students, Safeguarding under 18s, Teaching, and Leisure Opportunities.
The EL Gazette remarked: “Summer Boarding Courses are currently the very best British Council accredited residential summer schools in the UK based on the EL Gazette analysis of their inspection results.”
Sam Holderness, Director at Summer Boarding Courses, said: “We are so excited to have received such recognition from the British Council. This achievement recognises 10 years of hard work and the outstanding quality of our summer school operation. We are extremely proud of our team and pass enormous thanks on to everyone involved in our courses.”
Congratulations to the entire team on this wonderful achievement!
