We are thrilled to announce a further expansion to our fast-growing family of schools with The British School of Lisbon, Portugal.

The British School of Lisbon (BSL) is a co-educational, all-through school and adds to the Dukes Education presence in the UK, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Spain and Switzerland and is Dukes Education’s fifth school in Portugal.

The new partnership with Dukes Education opens up an array of benefits for The British School of Lisbon community that includes access to a global talent pool of exceptional educators, opportunities for student and teacher exchanges, and a platform for sharing best practice on an international scale. The collaboration offers The British School of Lisbon’s students and staff unprecedented learning and development opportunities.

The British School of Lisbon was founded in 2019 and was a member of The Schools Trust. The school currently serves students from Nursery (age 3) to Year 10 and will grow to offer A-levels from September 2027. BSL follows the National Curriculum of England and Wales adapted to allow a more international perspective and includes studies of local culture, language and heritage.
