Eleftheria was appointed as General Director of Mandoulides Schools in September 2025.
She has over 26 years of experience as a school leader. Having graduated from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a degree in Preschool Education, Eleftheria found her vocation in supporting young people and families through education. She went on to complete a postgraduate specialisation in Special Education and Teaching, focusing on children with learning disabilities.
In 2018, she expanded her leadership expertise by completing the prestigious program in School Management, Leadership, and Administration at Harvard University.
Eleftheria’s commitment to inclusive and high-quality education led her to take on leadership roles early in her career. Since 2001, she has served as Principal at Mandoulides Schools, where she has overseen the growth and success of a thriving educational community. Alongside her role as Principal, she shared her expertise as a Fellow Lecturer at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, contributing to academic programs for educators between 2009 and 2013. She also published articles in scientific journals and authored books on early intervention programs for learning difficulties.
Her leadership is characterised by her ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive school improvement, and cultivate innovation. She has championed staff development, strategic planning, and curriculum design, always with a strong focus on student well-being and achievement. Her areas of professional expertise, apart from school leadership and administration, include driving business and profitability KPIs, student admissions and enrollment management, HR & staff development, payroll and benefits management, operational oversight and compliance, extracurricular programs and student engagement, and school marketing and public relations.
Eleftheria is multilingual, fluent in Greek, English, French, Spanish, and Greek Sign Language, and has a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. As a leader, she is recognized for her ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions, make informed and timely decisions, and maintain a clear vision aligned with organizational goals.
Within Mandoulides Schools, Eleftheria Toutountzi has held a range of leadership positions, progressing through roles of increasing responsibility during her tenure as Principal, a position she continues to hold, giving her deep insight into every aspect of school life and management.
Her areas of expertise span school leadership, special education, and staff development, with a strong record of motivating teams and implementing effective changes. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Eleftheria continues to focus on how education can best support both academic excellence and personal growth for all learners.
