David Russell, with a background in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Durham and a PGCE in Science from the University of York, has dedicated his career to education. His teaching journey spans England, Argentina, and Spain, where he assumed roles including Head of Year, Head of Science, and Head of 6th form. Notably, he served as Head of Secondary at the British School of Córdoba, Spain, for 12 years, alongside extensive experience as a senior examiner for the International Baccalaureate Organisation.
David demonstrates a passion for nurturing young minds and believes it is a privilege to work with young people. Since January 2018, he has been the School Director at the International English School of Castellón, an all-through school for students aged 1 to 18. Outside his professional endeavours, he cherishes family time, finding fulfilment with his two children and canine companions. In addition to school leadership, David contributes to educational standards as an experienced lead inspector for the NABSS inspection service.
