Christina joined the International School of Athens in 2009. Her journey with the school’s leadership team began in 2017 and in January 2024 assumed the role of Head of School.
She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Imperial College London, as well as a M.Sc. in Mathematics and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics.
Before her transition to secondary education, Christina worked in the financial sector as a financial analyst and risk manager in both London and Athens. Her passion for teaching and transferring knowledge to young individuals motivated her career change.
As an educator, Christina is dedicated to demonstrating the beauty of mathematics and the intricacies of economic systems to her students. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling the world.
