Heidi is an experienced school leader with a distinguished career in London schools, where she has shaped both academic and pastoral excellence. Having spent her entire career in the capital, she has a deep understanding of its diversity, energy and opportunity, and believes London is one of the best places in the world for young people to learn and thrive.
Originally a Modern Languages teacher, Heidi went on to hold senior leadership roles including Head of Sixth Form, Deputy Head (Pastoral), Head of Senior School and Acting Head at Putney High School. During her ten years there, she led major developments in wellbeing and pastoral care, helped shape whole-school strategy and guided the school through an outstanding ISI inspection. She has supported students into a wide range of post-18 destinations, from Oxbridge and leading international universities to specialist arts institutions and competitive apprenticeships.
More recently, Heidi has worked with schools across the UK on curriculum development, pastoral strategy and future-focused education. Over the past year, she has worked closely with London Park Schools, supporting curriculum planning, student experience and the design of innovative learning spaces. Through this work, she developed a strong affinity with the school’s values of kindness, curiosity, inclusivity and innovation, making the opportunity to lead London Park Schools Mayfair, Hybrid and Sixth a natural next step.
Heidi’s leadership style is calm, collaborative and relationship-led, with a focus on ensuring every student is known, supported and encouraged to fulfil their potential. She holds a BA in German and Philosophy from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Buckingham.
