With over 25 years of experience in education, Natalia’s career has been firmly grounded in the British system and shaped by an international outlook. Born in El Salvador, Natalia moved to the United Kingdom as a teenager to complete her secondary and university education. Since then, she has lived and worked in El Salvador, France, and Spain, gaining valuable insight into diverse educational contexts. She has held a range of leadership roles, including Pastoral Lead, Head of Secondary, and now Head, which have deepened her commitment to student-centred, British international education.
In addition, Natalia has extensive experience working with the Council of International Schools in international school accreditation, as well as experience as an IB examiner, further strengthening her expertise in maintaining high-quality educational standards. Her work is underpinned by a strong focus on pastoral care and student wellbeing.
Natalia firmly believes in the transformational power of education and is passionate about nurturing leadership in her team and cultivating a school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered. Natalia’s vision as Head is shaped by a simple but powerful belief: that all young people, when given the right environment, encouragement, and guidance, can develop the confidence to achieve whatever they set their hearts and minds to.
Outside school, Natalia enjoys travelling with her husband and three children, discovering new cultures, and spending quality time as a family. Since moving to Spain, she and her family have embraced the country’s rich heritage and culture and feel fortunate to call it home.
