American Academy in Brno

With our unique blend of American-style curriculum and project-based learning, we teach students a wide variety of subjects, and more importantly, teach them how to think creatively and use what they know. Our students learn skills they will use in their future workplaces: collaborating, making presentations, analysing data, working with people from all over the world, problem solving, and thinking outside the box.

Our goal is to create a safe environment for all of our students where they will be able to fully develop their individual talents and potentials. We believe that each student is unique, learns differently, and deserves an individual approach from teachers and educators.

All faculty, staff, and students work hard to create a family atmosphere at school, where we respect each other as friends, partners, and collaborators. As our students will be open to numerous opportunities throughout the world once they have graduated, we endeavor to prepare them for every possibility by fostering a spirit of curiosity and open-mindedness.

Pražské humanitní gymnázium

Project-based learning as a key element for success in life is gaining more and more popularity and attention in society. According to expert research, we tend to remember best the experiences we have learned through our own active participation. In this context, the PHG welcomes project-based learning as an essential part of the educational process and is actively developing it. By integrating humanities and science subjects into thematic blocks, it aims to equip its students with the skills and knowledge they will need in their everyday lives. Each of us is involved in a wide range of projects in our lives, large and small. We believe that a student will achieve their goals if they put their energy and effort into achieving them, and our school actively supports this effort with pedagogical support and motivation. Our desire is for students to have the courage to try new things and projects without fear of failure.

Project-based learning promotes active and in-depth learning that allows students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world situations and problems. This promotes their critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving skills. It also provides a space for collaboration and communication between students, which develops social skills and teamwork. Project-based learning also motivates students as they have the opportunity to actively engage in their own learning and see the meaning and applicability of their knowledge in the real world. Other supportive factors are flexibility in the learning process, a personalised approach to students and the ability to tailor projects to their interests and needs.

Pražské humanitní gymnázium

Pražské humanitní gymnázium, one of the largest private grammar schools in Prague, offers both four-year and eight-year programs. It serves students from 10 to 19 years old and provides instruction in the Czech language.

The school has been operated by the Consilium group since 2016, when they started running their first school.

Pražské humanitní gymnázium is a leader in progressive education, featuringa comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to navigate the ever-changing landscape
of the future. At its core, the school fosters the cultivation of critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, self-reliance, and civic responsibility. We employ project-based learning as a conduit, merging theoretical foundations with tangible real-world applications. For our junior high school students, the block teaching method allows a deep dive into project-based
learning.

Within this structure, students immerse themselves in context-rich activities—stimulating games, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging simulations—fostering an atmosphere of creativity, mutual respect, and teamwork. As they transition to high school, students are given the freedom to follow their own academic journeys. Through elective seminars, insightful lectures, interactive discussions, and dedicated project days, students experience an education tailored to their unique interests and aspirations. All of these endeavors, aimed at student personal growth and autonomy, take place in a nurturing, familial environment that fosters each individual‘s potential.

Square

As the headmaster of Square, it gives me great pleasure to share with you our school’s distinctive approach to education and our unwavering commitment to fostering the holistic growth of each child. Ultimately, it is our goal that a graduate of Square emerges as a competent and well-rounded individual, equipped not only with academic prowess, but also with essential life skills.

Armed with emotional intelligence, teamwork abilities, effective communication, and a command of English, our students are poised to navigate the complexities of the modern world with confidence and resilience.

About
Square

Square is a Czech-English primary school located in Prague, catering to students from 6 to 15 years old.

It provides instruction in both Czech and English, with extended English language classes. Square caters to the individual needs of each student, while allowing each student to express his or her own unique talents. Our pioneering “Tree Rings” educational methodology begins with what is seen and experienced, then expands to encompass more general and abstract concepts. This provides each child a smooth flow in the acquisition of knowledge from novice to master. Central to our vision is the crafting of an environment that nurtures each student‘s distinctiveness while fostering important skills such as self-awareness, intrinsic motivation, adaptability, and resilience. At the heart of our curriculum is the mission to teach each child the art of learning: identifying aspirations, embracing errors as stepping stones, and charting his or her own academic journey.

By maintaining smaller class sizes—capped at 22 students—we guarantee personalised attention and forge deep, meaningful bonds with each child. Furthermore, our curriculum builds proficiency in both Czech and English language communication, ensuring that our graduates are poised to follow diverse personal and professional paths.

London Park Schools

I am delighted to be the Principal of this exciting new group of schools which offer a new approach to secondary education in London; one that celebrates the process of learning, that focuses on the individual within a smaller, collaborative community and which looks ahead to the future whilst recognising and celebrating the importance of an ethical, sustainable, and forward-facing approach.

The need for a new model of secondary education has never been more apparent and it is time for schools to embrace more of the skill-sets that will be so critical for the work places of the future.  London Park Schools look forward and thanks to their agile approach, can design and deliver education that’s relevant for the workplaces of the future.  What’s more, we recognise the need for an approach that’s simpler, more straightforward and kinder to children when it comes to Admissions.  As smaller schools, our focus is on tailoring experiences to deliver more individual experiences within warm and supportive communities – all whilst embracing the benefits of being part of a larger group.

Together, each of the three London Park Schools will offer a model of secondary education that’s as dynamic, diverse, innovative, creative, and energising as London itself.

I look forward to telling you more.

IEP Group

IEP’s mission is that all students participate in a stimulating, rich and challenging curriculum that provides them with opportunities to reach their unique potential and through this new partnership with Dukes Education we will be even better equipped to make that mission a reality.

We started our adventure in Spain at the end of 2016, with the partial acquisition of 3 schools in the Valencian community; subsequently, IEP was founded in May 2018 with the objective of becoming a major provider within the Spanish private schools market. Despite the COVID pandemic, we have managed to grow to a group of 7 schools,  employing 450 teachers and educating 4,800 students from 1 to 18 years old. This partnership will enable us to begin the next phase of our development, still under the IEP name and IEP has the honour of being the first schools group in Spain to join the Dukes Education family.

IEP and Dukes have a common set of values, vision and purpose, and we are excited by the tremendous potential this agreement offers IEP staff and students as we benefit from Dukes world-class people, reputation and infrastructure. Students at IEP will benefit from Dukes international exchange and summer camp opportunities, as well as different sport competitions and other exciting and engaging extra-curricular activities. IEP students will also benefit from more world-class career coaching, internship and university counselling, and will be able to confidently apply to any university world-wide through the Dukes platforms.
