After earning a Master’s degree in English Philology from Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic, Lenka has dedicated many years to sharing her passion for the English language with students of all ages. Throughout the past decade, she has assumed leadership roles in various private schools, spanning from elementary to high school levels. Notably, she served as the founding deputy head of a newly established high school, which swiftly gained recognition as one of the most prestigious institutions in the Moravia region.
During her three-year stint living and studying in the USA, she gained firsthand experience of American education standards. This exposure fueled her desire for new challenges, leading her to eagerly embrace the opportunity to join the American Academy in Prague in September 2022. As a fervent advocate for innovative learning methodologies, she is committed to upholding a high standard of education that meets the evolving needs of students in the modern, digital era. Recognizing the rapid advancements in technology and the shifting landscape of education, she remains proactive in integrating innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools into the curriculum.
Ensuring the well-being and support of teachers through pastoral care initiatives is a top priority for her, recognizing that their fulfillment directly impacts the quality of education provided. She prioritizes creating a safe and nurturing environment for students, where they feel valued, respected, and able to thrive academically and emotionally. Additionally, maintaining high standards of education remains central to her mission, as she is dedicated to preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed for success in an ever-changing world.
