About
Broomwood Hall Upper School
Broomwood Hall Upper School is our preparatory school for girls aged 8-13. The school was founded in 1984 by Katharine Mears (now Lady Colquhoun).
Times change, but our philosophy has never wavered. We exist to provide a traditional, rounded education, tailored to meet the needs of the modern world. Our girls are hardworking, focussed and confident – and they relish the challenges and opportunities that Broomwood Hall Upper School provides. Visitors and staff alike seldom fail to notice the constant buzz of laughter and the sense of happiness that come from time and effort well spent. Our motto, ‘To do your best to be your best’ exemplifies the ethos of our school.
We are the only all-girls’ day school in South West London geared towards delivering outstanding academic success for entry to leading day and boarding schools at both 11+ and 13+.
