Genevieve started her working life in IT, but soon realised that her career path needed to change. In 2006 she studied a Level 4 Montessori Diploma, and thereafter, completed a BA Hons in teaching and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education as well as achieving Early Years Professional Status. She has a wealth of different early years experiences, including 13 years in nursery management, mentoring across different educational programs, and lecturing experience on the extended Level 3 Diploma.
Genevieve joined Riverside in January 2020 as Senior Headteacher and in September 2020, she added Compliance Lead to her role. As a previous Ofsted inspector, Genevieve now focuses on Ofsted compliance across the five Riverside Nursery Schools. She has a passion for providing high-quality childcare. She believes in a child-centred approach to tailor every child’s learning experience to meet their needs and fulfil their potential.
