Sarah has been the Head of Notting Hill Prep (NHP) since 2019. Educated at St Paul’s Girls’ School and Wycombe Abbey, she went on to study French and Italian at Exeter University, followed by a PGCE at Roehampton University.
With over 30 years’ experience in the education sector, she started her career at Finton House, then rose through the ranks to senior management at Allfarthing, a successful state primary in Wandsworth. Previously, she was Head of Glendower Prep School from 2012 – 2019 and Founding Head of Maple Walk School, launched by the pioneering New Model School company, from 2005 – 2012. After serving on the Governing board at NHP and with the retirement of their founding head, she took over the role of Headmistress of NHP in 2019.
A native west Londoner, Sarah is married with two adult sons, and lives within cycling distance of the school.
