After graduating University of Leeds with a BSC in Applied Biology and University of Stirling with an MBA; Tim spent his early career in London working in various management positions within the Media and Advertising industry; then at the age of 34 moved with his young family to Spain. Having spent several years teaching, he assumed the position of Regional Manager Europe for Cambridge International Exams. In 2013 he joined the Swedish school group Internationella Engelska Skolan as international business development manager tasked with developing their business outside of Sweden. This led to him becoming Vice CEO of their first acquisition in Spain the IALE Elians Group. From there he went on to become the CEO of IEP (International Education Partnership) a role he has held for the last 7 years.
